Russian Lashes

Hey ladies,

Long time no post so I decided to come back with a good one. I’ve gotten so many questions from friends and colleagues since I got my semi permanent Russian lashes done a few days ago and I figured it might be something you all would like to hear about. Maybe a handy gift voucher idea for a friend!

In the interest of transparency, I just want to let you know I paid for this service myself and booked with the salon based on recommendations from my friends. Details of salon and prices listed below!

One main reason I decided to get them done is because I just don’t like mascara. It makes my eyes weep and also makes them feel really heavy. I could possibly be allergic to ALL the ones I’ve tried thus far. The only one I’ve found that doesn’t aggravate them is this one by Too Faced linked HERE.

Anyway, back to details on the lashes. The salon I went to is called Enchant, which is owned by local Limerick business woman, Miriam Costello. Enchant Salon 061 337333. And I’ll just link their Facebook page HERE. The process took roughly an hour and a half, and was pain and hassle free. Miriam herself did mine. She was so professional and really nice too. The service costs €70 with top ups costing €50. You should get a month out of them but this depends on your aftercare. Make sure you use oil free eye makeup remover such as this inexpensive one HERE

My verdict; for the first few hours I definitely found it a tad strange to have these individual eyelashes on, however, they are featherweight and after that initial few hours was over, I didn’t and don’t notice them at all. They look amazingly natural, (depending on what ones you choose in consultation with Miriam) and I don’t need feel the need to use eyeliner or eyeshadow for day to day wear with them on. Only problem is, they could become addictive!

I hope this post helps anyone who’s thinking of getting Russian eyelashes and if you’re in the Limerick area, I 100% recommend Enchant Salon. My whole experience with them was so positive-my next appointment is already booked in.

Any questions, leave them below and I’ll do my best to answer.

Fashionably yours,

Womenwhowearblack

***You need to get a patch test done beforehand to make sure you’re not allergic to the glue they use. If you’re interested in these lashes for the festive season, I’d suggest ringing first thing tomorrow morning as they’re an incredibly popular salon. Their number is; 061 337333.
