review 1: Пиастры и тысяча чертей в одной флаконе продолжаются. Вторая книга из цикла "Кэти Джей" мне показалась послабее, чем первая. Для уже фанатов капитана Фрея и его команды тут всё как и надо - сюжет развивается, герои раскрываются в новом свете, есть интрига, но ложки нашлись, а осадок остался - становится скучновато. Нужен резкий толчок в сюжете - иначе, в третьей книге можно будет пред угадывать концовку.
review 2: Another kickass story! At ... morefirst I wasn't sure it would be as good as Retribution Falls, as it started off a little rocky, but I kept on reading and oh my, was I in for a treat! The plot was excellent, the characters lively and three-dimensional, my only grievance would be the absence of a female main character with a healthy sex life. The focus is mostly on men though, so that is to be expected. If Mr Wooding could portray women equally, this series would reach absolute perfection. But it's still getting 5 stars from me because this is the most entertaining stuff I've read in quite a while. less
