On Wednesday 6th December Kingsbury High School hosted the annual Senior Citizen’s Christmas party, which was organised by the Year 12 & 13 ‘red shirts’. Approximately 70 visitors came from Roe Green Village, Magnolia Court, Ashton Lodge, Harrod Court, Preston Lodge, Abbey Field and local church groups.
The entertainment included a quiz down memory lane, boccia, and various singing performances from staff and students. There was also the opportunity for all to get involved in crocheting a blanket to donate to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
One visitor had some advise for the students ‘young kids, you need to have dreams and hopes then build your strong foundations and you will see you will rise’
