Brixton beach has been given a make over!
You may remember my post from last summer about the fabulous pop up, Brixton beach. Well luckily for all us brixtonites, it’s back again for a second year, and this time with a new look and feel.
The theme this year is Cuban rather than Miami and the whole place is almost unrecognisable with its new face lift! The entrance has an almost pergola on the roof feel with its “hanging gardens of Brixton” offering a ton of seating options which it was lacking in a little last year.
4 lovely bars: a Bacardi bar, La Riviera, a red stripe bar and the Chandon sunset bar, which is a great addition for any Champaign lovers. Plus 4 great food stalls to keep you topped up so you can dance the night away in the Buena Vista night club, and of course the main stage and actual beach area.
The addition of 3 private booths dotted around the beach are also a great idea for bigger groups to stay together, as it’s fairly easy to get lost in the crowd.
All in all it looks great and I’m sure I’ll be a regular there this summer…let’s just hope the weather holds out!
