Get outside. Watch the sunrise. Watch the sunset. How does that make you feel? Does it make you feel big or tiny? Because there’s something good about feeling both.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve always loved taking sunset pictures. My first recollections of this art form come from the early days of my photography along the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River.
Down by the Morris Island Lighthouse in Charleston, South Carolina, nestled quietly around a bend happens to be my favorite spot for some of the most spectacular sunsets in the Lowcountry.
It’s here that I feel tiny.
