Tara McDonald, one of the most successful dance artists of the decade, has released an electrifying new single ‘Taxxxi’. The track is the first of a slew of solo releases, with an EP due early in 2018.
Tara’s name is synonymous with massive global dance hits. She has achieved no less than 20 top 10 singles in the international charts, including her collaboration with Armand Van Helden – ‘My My My’, Axwell’s ‘Feel The Vibe’ and David Guetta’s‘Delirious’.
The British artist has also collaborated with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Sidney Samson and Laidback Luke…the list goes on. Tara has performed to massive crowds globally, from club stages in London’s Soho to the main stage at festivals including Tomorrowland, Ultra and Exit.
Tara is an activist and advocate for equality, human and animal rights. Not only was she appointed an ambassador for UNICEF at the age of 12 (their youngest ever), but in more recent times she was selected as the ambassador for Paris Pride in 2014 and her previous single ‘I Need a Miracle’ was chosen as the Europride anthem for 2016.
Starting her music career at the age of 9, Tara performed in the London production of ‘Les Miserable’, before becoming a session and live singer for the likes of Bryan Ferry, Roger Taylor, Roger Waters, Eric Clapton and Ringo Starr – and then moving into the world of dance.
Tara says: “I’m very excited to release ‘Taxxxi’, it’s an 80s inspired pop song, embracing a sexual fantasy….think 50 Shades of Taxxxi!”
