TBR: What’s on Deck for July 2017

How did I do on my June TBR?

So I didn’t do so hot tackling my June TBR List and I think I need to take a new approach to selecting titles I would like to read. I need to pick fewer so I still have the flexibility to add in something at the last minute and I need to pick books I am likely to procure via the library, thrift store, or a daily deal from Amazon. The main reason I didn’t get to my TBR list, aside from not having most of them in my possession, was that my Family Book Club pick, which I will post about soon, ended up taking me most of the month to read. My sister purchased me The Glass Castle, which I am currently reading and hope to finish in the month of June, which will make me 1/5 for my June TBR List. Here’s to hoping I do better in July…

Newly Added TBR Picks (< 1 year):

1. Anne of Avonlea (Anne of Green Gables #2) by L.M. Montgomery: I am so excited to snuggle up with this book and see where Anne’s story takes me next. I hope the second book is as good as the first! Date Added: June 19, 2017

2. Close Enough to Touch by Colleen Oakley: The premise of this book reminds me of an adult version of Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon, which I am dying to read, but won’t until later in the year for our Family Book Club. Hopefully this will tide me over until then, plus I found it on sale on Amazon last week for $1.99! Date Added: May 28, 2017

Long Ago Added TBR Picks (> 1 year):

1. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte: I know this is an ambitious pick, but I have wanted to read this book for so long and finally picked up a copy at Barnes & Noble when their classics were on sale for $5 each. I am fully preparing for this to be a book I read over the course of more than a month and maybe one I put down for a while, then pick up, but I would like to finally get started on this tome. Date Added: August 24, 2012
