The Holiday AdventureAThon

Hi guys!

I just wanted to share my TBR for the Holiday Adventure-A-Thon by  Novel Thoughts. For more details here is the link to the post. Click Me!

After following this map…

I ended up on Team Snowman!

Do you wanna build a snowman???

Now for the challenges I got based on the prompts:

Presents- Book I got as a gift

Finders Keepers by Stephen King. I was excited when I got this book. I’ve been searching for it and I am glad that this is what I got for our Christmas barkada exchange gift.

Star- Read a book with metallic cover

Kapitan Sino by Bob Ong. The seventh book by my favorite Filipino author. This is not your ordinary superhero book. Here is a bit about him that I saw on Goodreads; Bob Ong, or Roberto Ong, is the pseudonym of a Filipino contemporary author known for using conversational Filipino to create humorous and reflective depictions of life as a Filipino. #SupportFilipinoAuthors

Wish- Read a fairy tale retelling

Heartless by Marissa Meyer. I am still on the hunt for a paper back version so in the meantime I downloaded a sample from Amazon.

Cookies- Read a book while eating a festive food

I was planning to eat some bibingka while reading. Bibingka is a type of rice cake from Philippines and Indonesia, usually eaten during Christmas season. I will definitely buy some after the first Misa de Gallo. While waiting for that, here is a photo of my festive drink, Hot cocoa with mallows.

Nice-Read a book that a friend or family recommend to you

Inferno by Dan Brown. Suggested by my boyfriend.

Jack Frost- Read a book with the word “snow” in the title

Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle. If you saw my December 2017 TBR then you already know that this book is on the lineup of books that I will review for this month. It is perfect that I can also use it for this readathon! I hope you’ll look forward for my review.

Snowman- Read a historical fiction book

The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory. I have this fascination with the War of the Roses and the Tudor court — that is why I have a lot of Philippa Gregory books. This is one of those that I haven’t read. I think now is the perfect time to start.

That is all folks!

What do you think of the books on this list? Are you also participating? What team are you in? Any recommendations? Comment them down below!

Thank you for reading and as always, I’ll talk to you on my next blog!

Have a great day!
