Tons of flavor in Chicago–

MMM!  A meal at Roister in the Fulton Market section of Chicago is lively, fun, delicious, scintillating, and oh-so satisfying…jaaaa!

Above you see some oysters that kicked our butts…I rarely eat raw oysters in the interior of the country, but these babies are rockin’ it–keep servin’ these, Roister-dudes!  The red plate holds a delectable crab fried rice dish that is prepared skillfully and magically–perfect dish to help us ring in the Lunar New Year. . .the fried chicken is double-battered with buttermilk and flour and probably one or two secret ingredients–most wonderful!. . .and the chicken is served with a kale slaw full of lots of tasty goodness–never had a better slaw ANYWHERE…EVER!  And the little brown and beige bits you see above are part of the magical dessert served here–foie gras chunks coated with chocolate and a couple grains of salt–AMAZINGLY GOOD!

Please definitely consider dining at Roister the next time you find yourself in Chicago. . .this place is run by Grant Achatz–Chicago’s most-decorated chef of the moment–and the whole staff here will provide you with a meal that will make you go, “AAAAHHH!”  Plus, Action Bronson recently dined here with his crew from his fun tv show called, “F*ck, That’s Delicious!”…so you know it’s gotta be good…mmmhhhmmm!

To see more magical images from around our teeny tiny planet simply click on a location of your choice in the category menu on the ‘About’ page of this blog. . .do it. . .so much to see and sooooo little time.

It’s lovely out there.
