Travelogue: Day 3 in Taipei (18 January 2017)

The final day in Taipei on 18 January 2017,

After we had our hotel check out at noon, immediately we went to board the MRT to ZhongXiao Fuxing Station to have our lunch at Gudetama Chef before we bid our goodbye to our 7 days in Taiwan.

It would be better to make reservations online if you decide to have a meal at Gudetama Chef, as I heard that the tables were always fully booked. For online reservation, NTD$200 per person has to be paid upfront during booking, but it will be deducted on the spot with your food orders made.

Welcome to Gudetama Chef’s Store

The Gudetama Chef’s store had a small space that sells cute Gudetama merchandises, like cushions and plushies.

Next to the store was the restaurant, Gudetama Chef. The interior designs were all about Gudetama that my camera was busy, snapping photos.

We were taken to our seating area.

Look at utensils and placemats on the table, everything was Gudetama. It brightens up my final day in Taipei with a smile.

We began our order.

The foods was served shortly, one after another.

⬆️ Soft and fluffy Egg Pancakes.

⬆️ Two Colours Slushies. It tasted like fruity ice blended drink and the bottle can be taken it home after finished drinking.

⬆️ Japanese Teriyaki Meat Rice. The meat was sliced pork belly. Very tasty.

⬆️ Gudetama Chef’s Special Pancake with whipped cream and honey.

⬆️ Seafood Pizza. It was a very small pizza but the bite was crunchy with prawns, squids and broccolis.

Even the serviette had Gudetama on it.

After having our lunch meal with Gudetama, we had to take the MRT back to Taipei Main Station to retrieve our luggages and making our way to Taoyuan International Airport by bus.

It was in the evening when we reached Taoyuan International Airport and we might as well had our dinner at the airport before taking our flight.

My thoughts during the 7 days trip in Taiwan

What I missed about Taiwan: Mostly foods like BBQ Chicken Wing wrapped with fried rice and Dandan Hamburg in Kaohsiung, Taiwan Bubble Milk Tea, Pig blood soup, Oyster Omelette and Ah Zong Oyster vermicelli in Taipei.

Best Experience(s) in Taiwan: Definitely the Gudetama Exhibition in Taichung and Gudetama Chef lunch meal in Taipei.

That was all for day 3 in Taipei!
