about this poem. a prompt poem that asked, write a poem using twelve words, no more, no less. note the prompt said nothing about the “title” length, so my odd sense of humor saw an opportunity. however it does set the stage for the poem that follows. more than fair.
interesting to witness what dramatically fewer words will do. cleverness lost its seat. the words themselves took some measure of saying what’s next. relationships are expanded rather than reduced. and more exposition means less body of meaning for individual words! so this poem demonstrates an alternative.
