review 1: I'm torn between awe and irritation. Seriously. I don't know which is more prominent right now. Awe because this was a hell of a book with so much action, drama and such pain and irritation because Evy got tortured again. How many times is this going to happen? 'Cause I'm not much into meaningless gore and that's exactly what this felt like. I think one torture scene per series is more than enough. Specially considering the author combined torture and rape the first time around, no need whatsoever to write a second scene for sure. And I have no problem admitting that's why I took one star from my rating of this book because otherwise it was pretty much awesome. I'm still reeling from everything and very anxious to find out more.
review 2: I can't say enough goo... mored things about this series! I absolutely love this series, Kelly Meding always has me on the edge of my seat and it just amazes me all the things Evy has to go thru and yet she manages to make it out the other side with a positive attitude! Can't wait to see what's in store in the next installment for Evy and Wyatt, I have a feeling some interesting things will be happening! less
