review 1: Red Phoenix has a rare gift in that she can tell a story rife with explicit, graphic, hardcore, erotic sequences and somehow make it read like a sweet tale of sexual discovery. This is only possible as it is told from the point of view of a kind-hearted young girl who finds herself an innocent among her peers in the world of BDSM.....The brilliance in this is that the reader may not even realize how far from vanilla they have strayed until they are fully immersed in the story. By then it's too late. They have to keep reading because the material is just that good!
review 2: Brie's second visit to submissive training school and again it had an amazing effect on me that suggests the warning to others to read alone not in public as there's a definite possibility ... moreto probability you will spontaneously combust.Again I considered this for 4 or 5 stars...it is close, borderline for me. I love the fantasy of this, the different Doms that Brie and the other girls encounter. Here Brie is learning to present herself as her Master wishes, allow him use of her body and share the pleasure she gets from their encounters. I feel her meeting and experience with Tono, a Dom of Japanese descent will not be her last. There is an attraction for him but not like the infatuation she has with Sir the Headteacher, and this is where I hesitate. If it were real life then this Headteacher, Sir, knowing she is an anal virgin and having helped himself to her cherry as such, which though she consents was partially coerced, and as such he has abused his professional role..if Headteacher of a sexually submissive training school were such a reality of course! This gave me a few seconds concerned thought of the morals here of privileged position of the importance of the tutor/student relationship in a professional capacity and moral way. However, it has to be said it was a very erotic scene, and she is infatuated and attracted to him and of course this is delicious titillating fantasy :) I have had this series on my TBR list for a while and wish I'd read it sooner than later. less
