review 1: This is the second book in this series and I liked it as much as the first one. The two beautiful blond boys were a great combination...between their diametrically opposed personalities and the hardships they shared as children, I was hooked from the beginning. It's great that the central hub of the series seems to take place at Jay's bar, the stting from book one. I can't wait to get to know all the characters...
review 2: This short story is probably my favorite of the Other Team series and revolves around Todd and Tucker. They have been together since being in the same foster home at the age of 11. Todd has always looked out for Tuck. They’ve been through school together and now they share an apartment, as well as working together at the bar, The Other ... moreTeam. Todd is pretty much a slut, banging someone different every night and he does it at their apartment. The story even begins with a Todd conquest, where he pulls a total douche move to the guy he was with. Tuck longs to be with Todd but feels Todd views him as someone “weak – someone who needed protection- not someone who needed a good fucking”. Tuck hasn’t had hookups because the only one he wants is Todd. I can’t even imagine how painful it had to be for him to see the constant stream of men. It takes a new coworker, Alex, asking Tuck out to bring things to a confrontation. It’s funny that Alex noticed Todd’s “touch-him-and-I’m-going-to-kill-you vibe” but neither Tuck nor Todd notices it about the other. Communication, boys! I did feel so sorry for Alex. Their moment of truth is absolutely lovely and I wanted to hug them both. And I have to say, the last paragraph is sappy, sweet and just perfect. less
