review 1: I got this audiobook as a free download from facebook. I'm really not sure how the link showed up on my feed, but I always appreciate a free audiobook. I would not say the book was well written, but I do say that I enjoyed it. It is more like a story told by an imaginative friend, rather than by an expert at their skill. There were some mistakes, or at least some things that didn't make perfect sense, but I find those in almost every book I listen to. The story was packed with too much action to be believable, but it was fun. I hope I am able to find more of the books.
review 2: Good story - Fun ReadI have a tendency to download several promotional giveaway books from time to time on the off-chance that I will come across a gem -The Phoenix Conspiracy was
... more definitely one of them. The author did a fine job developing multiple layers of backstories, character relationships, and enough science fiction to keep my interest. I'm looking forward to the next installment in this book series. If you enjoy action oriented adventurous sci-fi, not necessarily huge on science mind you, this book is something you will want to read. less
