Under My Wing is like a gentle cushion of vulnerable admissions, subtly sizzling away on sparkling electronica. This song kind of moves like a glacier, never punctuating with grandiose or drastic change yet lovingly it holds your gaze. There is something surprisingly honest about the song yet it harbors this twirling dichotomy of sadness and hope.
After 5 LP releases spanning over 10 years, Young Galaxy throw off the binds of the music label with the brand new independently produced album ‘Down Time‘ and with that, it seems a brand new chapter is afoot. Reinvention is the modus operandi here for Young Galaxy, with a promise of fresh new starts and possibly some side-eye from the industry weary veterans.
