Officially opening tonight, production images have been released of Natalie Dormer and David Oakes in Patrick Marber’s production.

Enigmatic actress Vanda Jordan appears unannounced for an audition with director Thomas Novachek. She’s determined to land the leading role in his new production – despite seeming wrong for the part. Over one evening in downtown Manhattan their charged meeting becomes a seductive dance to the end.

David Ives’ play originally premiered Off-Broadway in 2010 before transferring to the Manhattan Theatre Club in November 2011, winning Nina Arianda (Vanda Jordan) the 2012 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play.

Patrick Marber’s production stars Natalie Dormer as Vanda Jordon and David Oakes as Thomas Novachek.

Natalie Dormer is best known for her performances in Game of Thrones, The Tudors and The Scandalous Lady W. Meanwhile, David Oakes can currently be seen in ITV’s Victoria, having previously appeared in the BBC’s The White Queen.

The production also features set and costume design by Rob Howell, lighting by Hugh Vanstone, composition and sound by Tom Gibbons.
