review 1: I’m pretty impressed with this graphic novel. Everything and everyone looks almost exactly how I imagined they would be. Naturally, they condensed the story down a bit, but they did without losing some of the most important parts of the books, so I felt the same enjoyment I felt when reading the books. I really don’t care that I know everything that’s going to happen in the series, I can’t wait for the next installment.
review 2: I haven't read a lot of graphic novels, but I do read a lot of romance. I enjoyed this mini version of the Dark Swan Storm Born novel. Kiyo totally rocked. As I read the traditional novel I'll definitely be imagining the artists drawings in my head.Excited to get hooked on a new (to me) Richelle Mead series (for adults) since ... moreI loved the Georgina Kincaid Succubus series. This was a great way to check out the Dark Swan series to see if I'd be into the storyline. less
