review 1: Nooo. Please come back. Why must you rip away my Sydrian live fest by ending books. My life is over. And Sydney is complete and utter badass. To a T. She is a breaking out of Alchemist jail, throwing fireballs, making motels explode badass. I love when she blows up the motel, and Adrian is downstairs, and realizes that a millions Alchemists are there. He all " I have to tell Sydney", and then BOOM! She blows up a motel. Adrian's all "never mind." He totally knows his girl is a badass. But she learned it from the best!!! Adrian!!!
review 2: I was holding my breath the whole time they were chasing their last ride to their freedom a.k.a chopper to the palace, no wait, scratch, I wasn't breathing at all. One word --- Unbelievable! This is so far my favorite book in... more the series. Did not see the wedding coming, or the whole running away in a Kate Spade and mermaid-cut gown in Vegas. Too bad the cover did not live up to the story's awesomeness. Seriously? Richelle Mead would've come up with something better. I actually refuse to acknowledge Adrian in that trying-to-be-brooding-look-but-failing-miserably gaze. In my mind, I have Nick Bateman as Adrian and Suki Waterhouse as Sydney. I hope when they do a reprint, they would strip the ugliness of the cover and come up with something more creative. Overall,albeit the ugly cover, Great read! less
