review 1: I was so shocked to see that this book started with Adrian's POV. I nearly died in shock. That was obviously exaggerated but you get what I mean. It was a dream come true to finally hear his thoughts.I am a romance fan. I actually thought a story will be boring if it doesn't have that element. And you know guys how I ship SYDRIAN but this book.. I thought the romance was too much. Yeah I felt giddy sometimes but I felt that the story was too focused in their relationship that the plot faded in the background.THAT ENDING THOUGH. Freaking Mead and her cliffhangers. :/Okay. Now, I'm going to write the full reviews. xx
review 2: The fiery heart is book number four in the Bloodlines-serie by Richelle Mead. It’s been a while since I read the previous book in the s... moreerie, so I didn’t quite remember where it left off :( Yes, that did matter some, because it took me some pages to get into the story again. The challenge now is that my library don’t have book number five, Silver shadows, in the serie. Which means it will take me some time to get it :(I was understandingly a little confused in the beginning since I didn’t remember that Sydney and Adrian had gotten together. But in other ways is was like meeting old friends. You know the way that it takes talking for about five-ten minutes with catching up before it feels like you’ve seen them everyday :) I love the interaction between Sydney and Adrian. I also like how you do get both sides of the story, because the chapters alternates in those two’s point of view.There is action (of course, that comes with the territory of vampires), but also a lot of love and friendship. The relationship between Adrian and Sydney heats up, but at the same time we see some of their everyday life and struggle. Struggle because others aren’t suppose to know about it, specially not Zoe, Sydneys sister. Zoe is very much like how Sydney was in the Vampire academy serie, uptight and scared of moroi and dhampires. Though, in some ways Zoe is worse than Sydney, because she feels like she has more to prove. Another struggle in this book is the looming presens that the Sage’s parents are getting a divorce. Which parent are you suppose to side with?Even though the book is more than 400 pages, it didn’t feel long. In fact, I wanted more! I want to read Silver shadows now! In case someone haven’t read it, I don’t want to spoil it. But that ending…. wow (which is the reason I want the next book, preferably yesterday :) )And there is magic :) less
