review 1: I really like this book. He has valid arguments as to why we should be eating plant based diets. I struggle with eating healthy and I find books like this a reason to re-think my diet. The only part I don't know if I can do is give up dairy, fish and all meat. He really believes that eating anything but plant based food is bad even in moderation. I think I probably could go plant based but getting my family there is a whole other story.
review 2: 3.5 A big, macho looking former firefighter, who sticks to a plant-based/vegan diet. Maybe this will get some guys to take a plant-based diet more serious. Tried two of the recipes already, both were really good and easy to make. My one quibble is the constant mention of Whole Foods related stuff, which is the company
