review 1: After impressing me with "The Backup Boyfriend," River Jaymes totally delivered a knock out this time. This short, sexy, and equally feel good story of best friends turned-lovers is what romance books are made of. At first, I was kind of skeptical on reading it because the cover and its title looks kinda sleazy but lo and behold, it turned out to be a beautiful and very heart tugging story. River Jaymes could've afforded to drag the story longer but she didn't and that what I liked most about the story and the author. The story was just right in every possible way!
review 2: I liked it but it was a surface read, the author didnt dig very deep so I couldnt become really attached or invested in the characters.Having said that I did enjoy the characters, they were... more just not very well fleshed out for me. Another 10-20K words and this would have been a 5 star book. I like this authors style and if she takes the time to polish her books more she could be putting out amazing books all the time.This is not one of my fave GFY books, but I did enjoy it.3.75 stars from me less
