review 1: 3.5 stars cuz it was a good plot but just too kinky which made me not interested.Oh my god this book is so kinky I can't evennnnn.But putting aside my childish immature judgments, the story plot line is actually really interesting and Mr. Cavendish can be so sweet and awesome. Like... Bro.... To the people who know me well, can we just talk about how much me and Bianca have in common? It's creepy. Beside the difference in artistic talent and hair color I might grow up to be just like her. Except I'm not gonna meet a guy like mr. Cavendish.
review 2: Mile High was amazing!!! As you know, I love this series and I love absolutely anything that comes out of the brilliant mind of R.K. Lilley! We definitely got to see more of who James and Bianca were, as individuals... more, in this book, which I loved. James turns into a more normal and loving "boyfriend" and Bianca starts to delve into her earlier life where we learn of all of her hardships, her mother's death, her father's rage and how this has all affected her. We start to see just how much James cares for her, even though it is annoying at times that Bianca doesn't haven't the wherewithal to do the same. Although, I do have to say that with the appearance of more of his previous conquests, it would be difficult to do so. Additionally, we meet Lana, who is just such a sweet addition to the story. She becomes such a great friend to Bianca and is able to pull their two worlds together in the classiest of ways. "I'm not usually such an open book, but I can't seem to help it with you. It makes sense, I suppose. You and I just have to be friends. I adore James, and I adore you on principal just for being the woman to finally make him fall in love."I really loved how this story progressed and how much we learned about the h and H. No happy ending yet, but we are getting there. Grounded, the 3rd and final installment, goes much more in depth in answering the questions that Mile High poses and I am looking forward to that HEA! less

I tried...I will not be continuing with this series. I have to finish a book once I start and the only thing that made me begin this second installment after the end of the disenchanting first book, was plain curiosity over the cliffhanger. I was underwhelmed by the revelations and the characters and most of all the dialogue! No one talks like that! It's actually funny! If a man said to me some of the things that James says to Bianca, there is NO WAY I could take him seriously.
