review 1: A mash up of 1920s adventurers and mythical creatures complete with a high-flying aviatrix for an aunt, it's as fun as the first book, with a more dangerous task. I would still recommended it to young readers, though it irked me a bit that Nathaniel Fludd was experiencing a rehashing of his clash with fear without truly developing from the previous adventure. Kids will still love it, and want to read more.
review 2: We are 6 chapters in and Quinn says, "aw, it is getting good!" as we have to turn off the light. She said she likes books like this because you never know what might happen next. This is a great series, especially for elementary boys. I am quite enjoying this series myself.
