review 1: Well, R.L. Stine has done it again! Another great read by the Middle School master!As if life isn't bad enough having to begin life in a new school, Artie's adventure is a brilliant gem of comedic and horrific results. Everything that could possiby go wrong, does.....many that I could never even dream up. After a horrible morning getting ready for school, Artie blunders through the day angering, the coolest kid in school, the principal, students and the entire footbal team (whom the principal encourages to beat up Artie) and teachers he discovers some scary and unusal happenings in this school....as he flees for his life he wake to begin over and over again. he tries to adjust and do things differently to avoid the pitfalls of the previous day....but to no avail...fate and... more destiny have bound him to a dreadful existance. Perhaps the funniest and funest book Stine has done so far, and that is saying something.I highly recommend this to all Stine fans, and juvinille/young adult fiction.
review 2: I thought this book was quite interesting because of the beginning and it repeats over and over again. I started to wonder why is his day starting over again. Then I found out something really interesting and it surprised me. It was so weird because it put in the perspective of the "main character" and I thought to myself something weird is happening. Then I am shocked when I am almost done with the book to find out that it was just a video game played by someone else. It really shocked me because it had the P.o.V set up and it changed to another P.o.V. It was interesting to read though. less
