review 1: This was really confusing story because the main characters were going trick-or-treating around the neighborhood and then all of a sudden, they end up in a crazy person's home and they started an adventure of mask collecting and everything was mixed up. They were confused with the words of 2 "villains" and they did not know what would happen if they did not do what they needed to do. I also thought that this was a very creepy book because of one of the "masks" that were used in the story. It was about bugs and how wearing the mask felt like bugs all over and it was frightening to think about how one of the kids had to wear it to keep it with them.
review 2: Monica thinks Peter is her biggest problem. But she is wrong. After knocking on the door of an old creepy h
... moreouse the kids are met by a strange woman begging for their help. The Evil Dr. Screem is after 5 horrible ancient masks. These masks have the power to manipulate the world around them. Monica and Peter don't want to help but they must because that's the only way they can get their parents back. unfortunately they don't know what they just got into. The two characters I will pick are Bella and Screem. Bella is evil she tried to trick Monica and Peter into helping her get the masks. Bella is an 130 year old witch who is trying to recreate the world the way she likes by getting a hold of the masks. Bella is creepy. Well she looks like a witch and witches have moles and look palish green. Screem is not as bad as Bella but he might have a small evil inside him. Screem is a sorcerer. Screem just looks like any normal person would. Bella and Screem are enemies. Both of them needed the five masks of Dr. Screem. They're both very powerful enemies.I would recommend this book to kids 11-13 who want to scare their pants off. I would only recommend it to them because little kids may not like them because their scared. Most of the kids I know like to read these books but 7,8,9,and 10 year old kids are not that interest in these kind of books and kids over 13 don't believe in that anymore. less
