review 1: Robert Kirkman is just as bad as George R.R. Martin. Holy shit. I could not believe this death happened and the WAY it happened - my jaw hung open and I just could not continue reading for long moments.... I just can't believe it. To me this is a game changer of a death. So, for the summary - Rick and company think they're scaring away Negan's men by fighting back, and have severely underestimated the number. Now everyone is in danger.
review 2: I have been borrowing the walking dead comics from the library but the were missing issue 16 so I missed the one before this. It didn't take much catching up. I have to say after enjoying the new direction the story was taking this felt like a giant step backwards. It really felt like it was going over old ground t... morehey'd covered with the governor. This really doesn't feel like humans trying to survive the zombie apocalypse anymore it's just human gangs fighting for territory. Where do all these assholes keep coming from? Considering how hard survival should be there seem to be a never ending supply of other survivors. I must admit that I found it really annoying that everyone is now going to a Christian church. I know this is set in the US but could there not be even a little more diversity? I forsee that I may quite soon give up in this series! less
