review 1: I really, really enjoyed this book. So much so that I couldn't put it down and once I really got into it, finished it in a couple of days. You just can't help but gobble it up! This is just the pinnacle of storytelling- it's a moving, enrapturing tale full of love, suspense, tragedy, and hope. It makes you catch and hold your breath, has you needing to turn the page... ... moreoot for either character (other than the fact that the author tells me I should) because they don't come alive at all. If this wasn't a book club selection I would never have finished it. less
