review 1: Going Rogue was such a fun read. Surprisingly, I think I might have liked it even more than the first book, Also Known As! Going Rogue had lots of action, suspense and intrigue. But more importantly, I care more for the characters and their well-being (which seems a bit odd since they are merely fictional). So this second installment was more emotional as well. The only thing I missed from AKA was Roux's jaded sarcasm! That was my most favorite part of the first book: her witty banter which served to cover up her damaged soul. In this second book, Roux gets some well-deserved redemption, but at the cost of some of her jaded, emo comments (although there were still a few great zingers!). I really hope that Benway comes up with a 3rd (or more) installment; it would be amazin... moreg to go another (or a few more) crazy rounds with this amazing group of characters!
review 2: 4.5 stars - Going Rogue was even better than the first book! I really loved this sequel. The plot was more tight and action-packed than in Also Known As, and there was such character development, especially in Roux. You see her softer side a lot more, while still getting her awesome sense of humor. Her and Ames are so cute together!!! And speaking of cute... JESSE!! Ok, I loove him. And I love him even more with Maggie. Their relationship is realistic and ADORABLE!!! I'm using so many exclamation points!!! Sorry about that. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who liked the first book AT ALL, you won't be disappointed! less
