review 1: Great series! Robyn Carr is an excellent writer. I'm addicted and having trouble putting down the books. I loved this book from start to finish. It featured three romances. The main storyline was of Shelby McIntyre and Luke Riordan. Luke Riordan is sexy and edgy and Shelby is sweet and innocent, what a wonderful pair they make. The characters were all well developed, believable, and colorful. This book is humorous, tearful, and even some sexy scenes that will keep you interested turning the pages to see what will happen nest. The story pulls you in and keeps you wanting more!!! I highly recommend this book and series
review 2: Ok, this Is the first book I've read from Robyn Carr, and apart from getting a little muddled with the amount of couples that were eithe... morer together already or getting together, it was really really good read.. Shelby and Ryan - she's a virgin, he's ex army and has sworn off serious relationships after having his heartbroken in the past. Although the main storyline focuses on Shelby and Ryan developing relationship, there are secondary characters starting up new relationships which were all really well written and made you want to read more. My only issue with this book was the ending, it was abrupt, and as the book was a longish one and went into great detail about how H and h meet it also goes into great detail about how the other characters start to fall in love and these stories kinda leaves you hanging, and although what happens in the end with Shelby and Ryan is concluded I thought that it would of been better to have all of the couples stories told and finished in this book, I came to the end and my first thought was Oh ok, right' and even had a quick flick back through some of the chapters to see if I had missed reading about them. I hadn't. I know the secondary characters were probably being set up for future books but there was ALOT of time spent reading about them and going into great detail about their personal circumstances, which in my mind was unnecessary as the story was so good it wasn't needed. I do of course realise that it helps to lay foundations and introduce new characters for future stories in this series but there was information overload on them. So as for my rating, well I thought the story and characters were fab, and I liked the way the main couple and other characters stories were intertwined , but the ending left me unfulfilled and wanting an epilogue to round thing up. less
