review 1: This story started like a cannon had Bremen shot!!Jack is something else, so much pain and unhappiness he has experienced from young. Being the oldest he has shielded his siblings from the brutality of their dad. They all were abused and hence nobody was in a relationship and all went straight into the Marines after graduating high school. That is why with each of these Connolly men it is going to take a special woman to help heal them and bring out of them the love they have but never should it to anyone else but each other.Jack has loved Abby for so long, but because of depression from being over in Iraq and Afghanistan he couldn't take the chance of pursuing her. But as fate would have it Abby wound up in Jack's gym taking self defense training allowing him to get his n... moreerve up and ask her out. Abby has always loved Jack but believed she wasn't his type she quickly discovers how wrong she is. Unbeknownst to Abby her business has just been dragged into a mob war, that has now targeted her and her little brother Mattie when she turns to Jack for help, she had no idea that "The Fighting Connollys" are about to rain down fire and brimstone upon those who would dare threatened their own. But The Connollys will find themselves strangely aligned with those from dark world who will fight along side them to help keep the family safe from their enemies.This was an amazing ride and next up is Book 3 "Finn's Heart" something tells me that Finn has stolen a heart already.Well Until My Next Review Ciao Bellas!
review 2: Roxie did it AGAIN! Abby is a woman witha special needs brother and a huge responsibility as a Pawn shop owner. Jack is an owner of a family gym with a Marine Corps background. This story is amazing with the mob issues, russian gang involvement, and motorcycle gangs... What more could you want?! I was floored with how well this story was written and the details were spectacular. I especially loved the Special Ops moves :) less
