review 1: Ruby Wax has a fabulous sense of humor, and her clever prose was really entertaining to read. But overall she's absolutely too reductionist in her arguments to the point where it becomes self-contradictory. An interesting introduction to the concept of Mindfulness for those who haven't heard of it, but not a particularly enlightening read in the arena of Cognitive Neuroscience, even for a pop-consumption book.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book and clung on to it like a life raft to get me through some difficult times over the summer. ... more should be redundant for most of us, but we transfer to other less pressing issues such as do people like me or why am I not as talented as ? Anyway I gobbled it up as mindlessly as I shouldnt' have, but Ruby's frantic delivery lends the book to be rushed. However I have kept it out on my bedside with the intention to re read it slowly, an use it as a bible of mindfulness to help tame my brain. so a good , possibly life changing book less

I didn't really enjoy her sense of humour. Felt it was very ignorant . But I agree with her message.
