review 1: I had some expectations about this book that was showed elevated. Given that I read a few books of this series, I was disappointed in how it was revealed the identity of cousin Michael. After so many books with letters, not knowing who was the character, the information was revealed from the very begining. I think it deserved a more dramatic scene.I also always feel the lack of some description of the epoch when I read Sabrina Jeffries tales.The love story is light and the reading was enjoyable, but fell short.
review 2: This is my favorite School for Heiresses Book. The back story of David and Charlotte is very touching and leads to a terrific 18 years later story. You do not see many historical books with a heroine in her 30s. I really enjoyed that the H/h we... morere in their late 30s and only one year apart. David is my favorite Sabrina Jeffries hero. Loved the Cousin Michael mystery. A book to be read more than once. less
