review 1: It was entertaining, in a sort of Da Vinci Code kind of way. The style is very similar, and I enjoyed the topic because I love mysteries and Stonehenge mysteries, especifically. Still, the plot is very loose, the characters are flat and I didn't get (emotionally) close to any of them. I like Gideon as a character, but I think the writer could have given him more layers and depth and exploit his inner conflicts (and those of his father, and the Order, as well) some more; same happens with Megan. You can read it quickly and spend a nice time; don't expect a masterpiece, though. Quite readable, but not more than once.
review 2: This is a really fast paced novel that brings the reader into the story and holds intrigue. I really enjoyed the plot centred around a sec
... moreret cult at Stonehenge. The whole idea of the sacrifice and the sacred renewal ritual was captivating. Regularly with this genre I get the twist before it's revealed but in this instance I didn't which shows the strength of the writing. This is well worth reading less

I really enjoyed this book. In the same league as Dan Brown. Quite a few twists.
