review 1: Ok so here's the thing, I feel like I am suffering whiplash. Seriously. Mandy is cold towards Dan who she just randomly runs into at a bar. Dan has been in love with her for years but never met her and at this random meeting, rather than introduce himself like a gentlemen, he doesn't tell her his name he just takes her to bed. Then she finds out he is besties with her brother who hates him. Then her brother wants them together. Then....yeah seriously this novella is well written but it needed maybe a few more pages to flush out the story. I think the synopsis is longer and more coherent than the story itself.I give it 2.5 lipsticks...~B~
review 2: This one was maybe closer to 2.5 stars, because it was written decently. Now, to the story...Personally, Dan... more was described as having huge muscles that would rival Mandy's thighs together (and she's portrayed as a very curvy girl), which made me picture him the whole time as this 'roided out, veiny dude, and that really detracted from the story for me. There wasn't really much to this story except for pick-me-up-in-a-bar-now-let's-screw sex that turned into a weekend, which turned into Mandy being in LOVE. And miraculously, Dan's been in love with her for years. But she doesn't know him. Meh. less
