review 1: I really enjoyed this story better than the first one of this series. henry and Lydia's story was truly touching. The sex was incredibly hot. I loved the fact that the heroine wasn't the typical virgin. Even though there is nothing wrong with that. It just gets really boring after you read the same thing. This story has action hot sex of course and left me curious about Ellijah. Is he getting a story?
review 2: ~~~~~ 4.5 Star's ~~~~~Well we're do I start.... This book was very different from the first one and had me cursing and I wanted to bitch slap Henry and put that drink on his head But I loved the twists and turns this book gave me, Kept me on edge to see what's next I like that it's different from the usual man meets women books well done sam cres... morecent another fantastic read!And I can understand why some ppl won't like this book from the go with the way Henry is But keep with it and you'll understand why he's like that and you're like the characters by the end! Henry is a fell mouthed and dominate guy he has built this hard shell after he became The Scarred one and left his old life behind he turned to whores because he knows no beautiful woman would want him like this As he met Lydia when her best friend fell for his mate and business partner he didn't like how she tried to turn her friend against his mate but he had to do a job which got her involved and he took a like/hate to her from then. He is cruel to her in what he says but he deep down feels the guilt and they end up in a situation that is the beginning of there friendship and that's when you start to see the real Henry come out and look beyond his scars, I really enjoyed reading this book and looking forward to Elijah getting his book and for more twists and turns as I feel he's a dark spirit. less
