review 1: Where do I even begin?? This book was five shades of awesome! There was angst, there was hidden romantic tension, conflict, and action! It pretty much rocked my socks off. I was actually surprised it turned out so good because it cost under $2 for Kindle on Amazon (I originally tried looking for it on B&N but it wasn't there). I never have good luck finding good reads under $5, if you know of any let me know, so I was shocked when by the third chapter I was hooked. Also someone in a review I
review 2: I wasn't in love with this book, but the concept (not the main character) was different and interesting and I liked that. I'm not sure if I will read the whole series, but at least book two. Her family was a bit dark for me, and that's definitely a deterrent. ... moreI read for the love of it and some topics/evil characters leech the enjoyment right out. I don't want everything to be a light read or even have a happy ending (Thank you, Veronica Roth), but there are certain lines that crossing just ruins it for me personally. less
