review 1: Hmmmmm.....Definitely not as good as "Blood Will Tell"; but not bad, none-the-less. Fewer grammatical errors - that was a plus. I'm not really sure why this book wasn't as good as the 1st one....... I can't really explain it. The feeling I got while reading it was darker than "BWT". I don't think we got enough of Eden's "attitude" that I loved so much in "BWT", either. She was too busy being mad at Noah and learning to cut off soul-eater's heads........I'm glad she became an Ankh, though. And I'm curious to find out if Young can redeem my opinion in book 3. Okay. Here goes nothing........... (starting book 3 now....)......
review 2: Another really great book. The storyline is still fantastic. I loved meeting all the characters in Edinburgh. Tobe was so... more funny. And yes, I am still completely in love with Cyrus. To be loved by a man like that? *fans face* ;) I really enjoyed watching Eden become a stronger person and her relationship with Noah is really sweet. I hope to see more of them in the next book :) Now is it just me or is Darius one scary guy? The wink totally threw me off... LOL I think he a Valeria would make an incredible couple. I can't wait to see how this trilogy ends. less
