review 1: Fun, but nothing grabbed my attention until the Countdown chain made from fabric scraps--what a fabulous idea! Fun for a family with children when they're looking forward to something like a birthday or vacation. Eco-friendly in a couple of ways (using bits of fabric & saving paper repeatedly). Also, am I the only person in the universe who doesn't love yoyos?*Also cute were the Dahlia pincushion & the picnic quilt.
review 2: Very cute compilation with lots of variety. They assume a basic knowledge of sewing but aren't overly complicated at all. Funny but I thought the projects would be made using only small bits of scrap fabric, but actually every project requires large pieces of fabric with the addition of small bits, cut from another larger piece to be used
... moreto embellish the overall project. Not exactly what I was looking for personally, but it's a nice book full of cute quick sewing projects. less
