review 1: How stinking adorable is this story?I mean, it had potential of being overly drama-filled, but it was done perfectly.Lily, ready to start her new life after a disaster of a wedding day (walks in on her fiance screwing her sister), she moves in next door to two outrageously hot guys, one who she likes in a friend way, and the other who she was wants to choke due to his hot/cold personality.Luke, struggling to live day-by-day after the tragic death of his fiance, did not bank on having a hot girl move in next door - only to want to wash her mouth out with a bottle of Dawn liquid soap.Their relationship builds and grows wonderfully, and I loved how they didn't rush into it. Their pasts are dealt with realistically and like I said, no craziness that made you want to roll your ... moreeyes.The secondary characters are quite enjoyable as well.BUT - there was something missing. There was something that kind of didn't get to 100% for me but overall, it was still intriguing and I'm going in for the next round of Lily & Luke.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book a lot. I instant fell in love with the characters. However...while I was reading I kept thinking..."ok the shit is ABOUT to it the fan. I just KNOW IT!" But it NEVER did. I felt like I kept reading and nothing was happening. Don't get me wrong, the main characters did have ALOT of sex, but I started to skim through those parts. Skimming is NEVER good when reading a novel. I also felt that the characters fell in live way too fast. Don't get me wrong...I AM A SUCKER FOR A GOOD LOVE STORY. But really, less than a month and the two "broken" characters we head over heels in love? It's hard for me to start drinking THAT cool aid. I will definitely read book two!!! I just hope the is a tad more drama. Maybe some jealousy, maybe Hunter could come and try to win her back...something!!!! less
