review 1: I thoroughly enjoyed this murder-mystery and it kept me entertained and turning pages all the way from beginning to end. The characters were well-written and three dimensional, which is always so important to me in a book reading experience. I loved the main character and her desire to become involved in the mystery and look forward to reading more books based on her character in the future. This one was definitely a keeper :)
review 2: I liked the writing style of the author and I found the story to be very interesting. You could figure out who did it fairly early, but still wanted to read to find out how the authorities figured it out. The forensic science was interesting and I loved how they had a small but pivotal scene in a library (I'm a librarian), ... morebut it was too graphic for my taste. Because of that I am not sure I will read anymore in the series, but if that doesn't bother you I think you might enjoy this book. less
