review 1: Words cannot express how much I love the cruel, beautiful world Sarah Maas created. This story was full of so much beauty and pain, hope and regret, peacefulness and rage, I was basically glued to the pages and couldn't stop reading. I'm eager and scared at the same time to continue reading these novellas. It'll mean more Celaena and Sam, but at the same time I know everything is going downhill from now on.
review 2: Yay more Celaena.. book not enough hotness male characters haha. Honestly this was a great novella (what is a novella? less than 100 pages?) set in the desert and showed how Celaena learnt mercy from some silent assassins. I really hates Ansel from the moment she was introduced. I think i was already comparing her to Melisandre from Game of Thron
... morees due to her appearance and her general bitchiness haha but she seemed like bad new from the start. I have a feeling she is going to come back into the world somehow, as in she is going to hang out with her witch friends (come on, no one believes that she doesn't have some kind of magic... in fact i'm fairly convinced Celaena may have party Fae in her)I actually felt bad when Ansel killed her bf (Micah? I honestly can't remember haha). Necessary plot device to show how evil she actually was? Yes but she could have just killed the son and left him... so clearly the son of the silent assassin king is going to come back into the main storyline as well....Onto the next novella! less

It's fun seeing Celaena realize that she is in love with Sam.
