review 1: Oh, Sarah Jio. Where have you been hiding all this time? I read Goodnight June and was immediately drawn to Jio's writing. Now I am going back to her previous novels to see where she started and I was not disappointed. The Violets of March weaves past and present almost effortlessly, which is challenging to do when presenting a fluid story. I was drawn to the characters and felt satisfied by the conclusion to this beautiful story.
review 2: This was recommended to me by a friend, and since I enjoyed reading The Bungalow so much, I thought I'd give it a try. Wasn't bad. I liked The Bungalow better, and this didn't hold my attention as much, but I still read it in two days, so it was easy. I liked the characters but didn't love any of them, and the way the family
... more secret was revealed ended up feeling very anticlimactic to me. Not a bad book, but not my favorite from her either less

cute read, but not a fan of the ending - wraps everything up in 2 pages.
