review 1: Well...I'd probably rate this book a 7 out of 10 since i'm feeling a little generous today. But the truth is, this book is actually more like a 5 for me personally. When it came to the whole plot and storyline, i'd say this was really awesome, and humorous. Perfectly captured the whole essence of teenage rebellion, which is i guess is completely normal nowadays. Although the thing is, i felt like the characters didn't grow at all. I certainly don't expect a full 180 degree personality makeover at the end of the book, but i feel like the main character, April, had so much potential into becoming a better one but she failed to do so.It was like the story didn't go deeper and more complex other than her crappy relationship with her boyfriend who cheated on her and gave her thi... mores STI. That was pretty much the bottomline. I think the story didn't extend far beneath the surface and could've been better if the author incorporated some intense and more profound conflicts between April and her dad. Well other than that, I think this book was a light and easy read and can be finished in a day. It still surely was worth reading but it wasn't as fantastic and bombdiggity as I thought it would be.
review 2: Crazy book!!!! Hahaha this book is filled with crazy hilarious things!!!! I have to admit I didn't like the story at the beginning because for one I thought there wasn't any real story but the story is deeper than I thought it was! Learned so much things about family, friends, decisions and definitely change! Change is a good thing so don't be afraid to do it!!!! Gets better in the end though fun read and Hudson and April!!! I knew it all along hahaha I have a feeling a sequel's coming up so yeah ...technically this book proved me wrong about it being a not-so-worth-reading-kind of book but it's defo worth the shot, after all ! :) less
