review 1: This book was one of THOSE books, if you know what I mean. A cute coming of age story about find your way through high school. An easy read, for sure and a happy ending. Technically, I would not have my eyes set on this book because of the plot or characters. What grabbed me was the cover. It was contemporary and I like the color combo. Not a huge fan of romance type novels. I, however, liked the skiing element in the story. Alas, I must say this wasn't my most favorite book in the world, but overall, it was fine. :-)
review 2: Love this book to death. Randomly picked it up from Barnes and Noble a long time ago because what smart girl doesn't want to read about smart girls getting what they want? I've read it a few times since + made my best friend read it and ... morewe've both determined that we'd like to be Gigi and have our own Mike's. DYING for a sequel that I know won't happen. Smart girls had normal teenage characters I could actually feel myself being invested in and I would have loved if this were a series about Gigi's high school life instead of a stand-alone less
