review 1: This book is simple wonderful! From the way the way it is structured, the switch between past and present and the very clever suspense which is built from the very first page. I fell in love with the way Sarginson uses the innocence of youth to show the harsh reality of adulthood. A very different perspective of the relationship between twins which defeats all it's expectations and connotations- simply wonderful!
review 2: A rather a run of the mill attempt at a thriller. It starts with a bit of an intriguing premise about the connection between a set of twin girls, Viola and Isolte, which seems to have fractured in adulthood and they are living very different lives. Their story is told in a series of flashbacks to their childhood and early adolescence, attempting to explain why they have ended up on such divergent paths, and catalysed by their meeting of a set of twin boys, John and Michael. However, none of the characters were really that interesting and they struggled to hold my interest until you found about 'the terrible event' that separated them all. less

Sadly I couldn't not get through this book so I am going to give it away or to charity

I really liked the premise of this book but it didn't live up to the idea.
