review 1: This very short manuscript leads us to the details of the blinders that Nikola Tesla was made up of. An excellent inventor who was masked by the superstitious society as a 'mad scientist' for his overly imaginative creations. The 'father of radio' was often mistaken for a black magician. The unfortunate tale of this genius is described by Sean Patrick in this book. The book also acts as a catalyst, if we are willing to subject ourselves to a brief session of brainstorming. The emphasis is on ideas and the drive to enhance those ideas, which could possibly lead to genuine logical reasoning. The various inventions of Nikola Tesla are put into light, some of which failed to see the day light in that era. Nikola Tesla was undoubtedly the most underrated scientist of his time. ... moreWe owe generation of Alternating Current to this legend. Very less is made known off him in this book. I would definitely like to read a more detailed version of a book on him. A good short read!
review 2: An easy and enjoyable read! As the title says, it's equally an essay on imagination and the essence of genius as it is a short biography of a great man, Tesla! I have read other biographies of Tesla, so the stuff mentioned here was more or less known to me; however, it is an excellent starting point to learn more about the man who literally invented the 20th century and the way that creativity works. less

Great for those who want to get to know more about Nikola Tesla without much depth and detail.

This read like a cross between a self-help book and a poorly written college research paper.
