Number One
Weekend Away – We spent the weekend in Wales, staying in an apartment inside the Betws-y-Coed railway station. I’ve always wanted to visit the picturesque village and it didn’t disappoint! The shops are full of gorgeous handmade and unique items and we had a fantastic breakfast at Caban-Y-Pair.
Number Two
Portmeirion – We visited the beautiful Portmeirion on Saturday. It’s a coastal resort in Wales designed to look like an Italian village and also the filming location for one of my favourite 60’s TV shows, The Prisoner. Every building is so colourful and unusual!
Number Three
Welsh Cakes – I had my first Welsh cake during our trip away and I loved it! They’re rather like a scone but much thinner and with more flavours. I will definitely be picking up a box next time we visit!
