review 1: This story was written with with a key that kept my I interest peeked throughout the book. Tristin with his intelligence, strong faith and love for McKenzi/Josie make him strong and captivating character. Josie even with her dark side; still had her true love deep in her heart and was able to bring it back and join Tristin in a fight for love and freedom from the evil of The Big Easy. The other characters were captivating in their own way. Gavin, Monica, and Alex were as Tristin were able to pull the McKenzi out of Josie. We'll written captivating and entertaining. I just love the book!
review 2: I really liked it! It's definitely a pretty dark story, and a lot of heavy situations, but there was an underlining hope to the story that helped it not be to depressi
... moreng. I think Tristan was really great; he added some much needed intelligence to the story, and his level headedness was really appreciated. I'm on the fence about Josie, but as the story went on she grew on me. The story had a nice flow and I liked the author's word choices. I look forward to more books by Season Vining. less
