review 1: A nice story on love and following your heart.But there are many more lessons in the story than just love. Guilt is an ugly feeling,it rule over everything if you let it.But for Madison it ruled her to the point of no end. Maddie had to over come the guilt from her past to be able to accept the love she and Logan shared. This was a nice story,although I got really frustrated at Maddie over her ability to accept things as they were.
review 2: Of Love & Regret certainly had the healthy dose of angst and drama that I have come to know and love from S.H. Kolee’s books. Madison and Logan’s relationship was full of ups and downs They had been friends for years, but tragic circumstances had caused a rift between them for several years. What Madison sees as a stric... moretly plutonic friendship changes one day when she suddenly sees Logan differently again. I’m not sure that I can actually review this book how I normally would without giving away to much of the plot, so I will stick to just describing my feelings towards the main characters. I was very conflicted with my feelings towards Madison and Logan throughout the entire book. I loved them one minute, then the next I hated them. Madison seems to harbor a lot of guilt for betraying her best friend in college, and this carries on into her present day life as she tries to continue her friendship with Logan. Logan is the typical twenty-eight year old insanely good-looking man that doesn’t want to settle down. Everyone around them doesn’t believe that they are just friends. Madison’s fiancé and Logan’s current fling think that there is more going on.The sexual tension between these two was thick and intense. I wanted to scream at them to just go at it already. When I finally found out what the tragic circumstance in the past was, my heart really did break for the guilt and betrayal that Madison felt responsible for, but at the same time, I thought that she brought it upon herself. Logan had me eating out of the palm of his hand one minute, then the next, I wanted to smack him senseless.I will conclude that Of Love & Regret was a very good book, and I really enjoyed it. I am a huge fan of S.H. Kolee’s books, and I am will definitely be reading the sequel that is due out early next year. That’s another thing…I wasn’t aware that there was going to be a sequel, but it helps as I thought the end of this book wrappd up a little to quickly. I am looking forward to finding out how much more trouble and drama Madison and Logan can get themselves into. less
